Privacy
Cubic Yards Calculator sets no cookies and has no accounts. Every calculation runs in your browser. To make the calculators better, the site logs anonymous use: what was calculated, not who calculated it.
What the site collects
- Calculator use: the page, the site you came from, phone or desktop, and your country (from Cloudflare). In a calculator: the material, the shapes, the number of areas, the depth, the cubic yards, the options and buttons used, and any warning shown. It is sent a few seconds after you stop typing.
- No name, email, IP address or cookie. A random id, kept only while the browser tab is open, groups one visit.
- "Result looks wrong" reports: when you press Send, the site receives your note and the result on screen.
- Opting out: turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser and nothing is logged.
- Where it is kept: a Cloudflare D1 database that only the site owner reads.
- Analytics: none at the moment. If added, it will be Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies.
- Server logs: the hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard request logs for security.
